The Bregenzerwald winter landscape is so invigorating and so quiet. The location of the Hotel Bären is perfect: in the middle of the beautiful village of Mellau and directly at the Mellau-Damüls ski area with over 100 kilometers of slopes. The Bregenzerwald is away from the hustle and bustle and can be wonderfully hiked through on winter hiking trails or with snowshoes...

...or you can just sunbathe on the warm, wood-shingled house wall.
